Regular car washing is important, but optimal vehicle care goes beyond that.

The rims require particular attention. The wheels are our direct connection to the road and are therefore constantly exposed to environmental influences. Dirt and brake dust build up on them. Proper cleaning is crucial to prevent corrosion and maintain a brilliant shine.

We would like to explain to you here why it is so important to use pH-neutral and acid-free cleaning.

First of all, we need to briefly explain what an acid-free rim cleaner actually is. As the name suggests, it does not contain any aggressive acids and works completely pH-neutrally.

But why is this so important?

Conventional rim cleaners often contain acids. Although these often remove stubborn dirt, they are aggressive and cause long-term damage. This can lead to dulling, discoloration or even corrosion, particularly on chrome-plated or polished rims.

And this is exactly where our acid-free rim cleaner comes in: thanks to its well thought-out composition, it effortlessly removes brake dust, road dirt or oil, but does not attack the material.

We use special surfactants and solvents to gently remove any dirt from the surface. Our cleaner also contains a color indicator that changes color when the dirt is removed, thus visualizing the cleaning process for you.

Let’s get to the application:

To remove loose dirt particles, first rinse the rim with clean water. And then dry the rim.

Now simply spray our rim cleaner evenly and let it work for a few minutes. However, avoid waiting until the product has dried.

If the dirt is very stubborn, you can also use a rim brush or a sponge to remove the dirt.

Then rinse the rim thoroughly with water to remove any loose dirt and cleaner.

For an optimal finish, dry the rims with a microfiber cloth to avoid water stains.
