There is a natural solution for flawless paint protection: our carnauba wax sealant
For many car owners, it is not just a tedious chore but a passion - the correct care of the vehicle. Last but not least, the choice of the right sealant plays a crucial role. A traditional and elegant solution is the carnauba wax sealant .
But what is carnauba wax and why is it so popular in the automotive world?
The carnauba palm is native to the tropical regions of Brazil. To protect its leaves from extreme weather conditions and strong sunlight, the palm produces the hardest natural wax known worldwide. It provides optimal protection against UV rays, dirt and other external influences. Due to its water-repellent properties, it makes the surface almost immune to water drops and deposits.
All these properties make carnauba wax the perfect substance to be used in car care:
Deep shine - this is what carnauba wax is famous for. It creates the popular "wet look" because it gives the paint a reflective surface. Particularly impressive on dark paints.
Natural - Although carnauba wax provides absolutely reliable protection against all environmental influences such as bird droppings, tree resin or dust, it is also very gentle on the paintwork as it is a natural product. It also prevents the paintwork from fading or becoming dull as it repels harmful UV rays.
Hydrophobic - Carnauba wax is water-repellent. Raindrops form into small beads and can easily run off the surface. The vehicle stays clean longer because water spots are reduced.
Environmentally friendly - Carnauba wax is a natural product and is therefore not based on petrochemicals. This makes it not only the ecological choice, but also the better choice for those who want to avoid chemical additives.
Careful application is important for optimal results:
Preparation - Before a vehicle can be sealed, it must be thoroughly cleaned and ideally polished to remove any dirt and scratches. It is also a good idea to seal the car in a shady place as direct sunlight will make the job more difficult.
Application - A small amount of carnauba wax is placed on an application pad and then applied to the paint in circular motions. It is important not to use too much wax and to ensure that the application is thin. Too much carnauba wax makes the application more difficult and unnecessarily prolongs the drying time.
Drying and hardening - After applying the wax, it must be left to dry for a few minutes. A milky layer forms, which is then polished off with a microfiber cloth.
Subsequent care - Depending on the weather conditions, the carnauba wax sealant lasts about 4 to 8 months. During this time, the car should be washed and cared for as usual.
If you value perfect protection and an incomparable shine for your vehicle and want to use an environmentally friendly natural product, then carnauba wax is the right choice!
