Application

cleaning
All surfaces to be treated must be dry and well cleaned. Contaminants, dirt and dust on the surface also absorb the coating and can lead to higher consumption, areas that are not optimally wetted and a shorter durability.
When coating car paint, it is important to ensure that waxes or silicone waxes are completely removed from the surface before coating. Likewise, no surfactants from cleaning agents may remain on the surface.

application
KO86 SiO2 ceramic paint sealant is delivered ready for use and is applied undiluted to the pre-cleaned, dry surface. We recommend wearing protective gloves to avoid fingerprints on the surface! Rub the sealant in carefully and remove any excess with water or rub off with a microfiber cloth. We recommend a surface temperature of +5 to +25°C for application. Do not use in direct sunlight or on heated surfaces. In principle, however, application is possible from 0 to +45°C.

drying
The curing time is about 5 minutes. After that, the surface can be used immediately. The cured coating is completely invisible and does not cause any visual impairment.

Consumption depends on the structure of the surface, approx. 10m² / 100ml.
